Terminology Videos

Correct technique is important to us at Springfield Dance so that we know dancer’s bodies will be strong and healthy. We make sure dancers use their natural mobility when learning technique so that they safely transition from one position to another. Terminology Sheet

We developed this study sheet as part of our core curriculum to help dancers better understand the ballet terminology as they develop. These terms are introduced to even our tiniest dancers, and they begin learning the translation of the words in our Prancin’ Preschooler 2 class for 4 year olds. Each year we increase the number of terms learned, corresponding to their motor skill development. TERM SHEET
