For this #FeatureFriday we have Miss Sammy White who is playing the part of Sophie in Springfield High School’s Mamma Mia this weekend! This beauty has been a student of Springfield Dance since she was a toddler: a shy, bright, energetic little blondie with the longest hair you will ever see on a tiny tot! She has blossomed into an amazing performer and young adult. One of my FAVORITE memories of this child was her golden birthday. She turned 12 on December 12th, 2012. She is a superstar in her own right and will accomplish whatever dream she sets in her sights. You can get tickets at the door: $5 students and senior citizens, $8 adults. We are proud of you! Miss Madi Landgrebe and Miss Emma Cox are also in the cast of this amazing show!

Also running this weekend is Springfield Ballet Company’s production of Cinderella at Sangamon Auditorium. Springfield Dance is represented by 20 dancers in the cast of this magical ballet. Performances will be on Saturday at 2 and 7pm.
